BioSensive Technologies is a hardware product studio. We design biosensing and connected devices — sensing, firmware, industrial design, and the supply chain that gets them built — and we have taken our own products from a bench prototype to a factory floor.
Anyone can build one working unit. Building ten thousand of them, to the same tolerance, at a cost that leaves a margin, is a different discipline. We work across the whole span — because the sensing decision made in week two is what determines whether the thing is manufacturable in month eighteen.

BioSensive started with a question a physician would find obvious: if the earlobe is where clinicians have always taken a reliable pulse, why is every fitness tracker strapped to the wrist? Everything we have built since follows from that.
Joule turns any post-style earring into a discreet fitness tracker — optical heart-rate sensing, Bluetooth LE and a companion app, engineered into a package smaller than a dime. No new jewellery to buy, nothing visible on the wrist. It is the unfinished business of our first patent, ten years on and with a decade of manufacturing lessons built in.
A modular earring that read heart rate, calories and activity from the earlobe using optical sensing and Bluetooth 4.0 — small enough to wear as jewellery, and designed so the wearer could set their own stone. It drew international press on launch and put the ear-based sensing idea on the map.
Ear-O-Smart proved the physiology and the appetite. What it taught us about tooling, supply chain and the gap between a working prototype and a shippable product is the reason Joule exists in the form it does.
Our founder is the named inventor on a WIPO filing for a miniature wearable device that continuously monitors health through the ear — priority date October 2014, published 2016. A decade later, six subsequent patents cite it as prior art, including filings from Samsung Electronics and Shiseido.

BioSensive was founded and is wholly owned and directed by Ravinder Pal Singh Saini — the named inventor on the company's patent and the person who has carried this product line from a university lab bench to production tooling.
Outside BioSensive he has spent fifteen years in engineering and product: thermal occupancy sensing at ecobee, a connected-camera and baby-monitor portfolio with full P&L at CWD, and an AI and integrations platform at Compass Digital. He started on plant floors across Asia and the Middle East, commissioning battery manufacturing lines.
